These general conditions comply with the provisions of Decree-Law 61/2011 of May 6, with the amendment that was introduced by Decree-Law 199/2012 of August 24.

The general conditions whose object is an organized trip included in this site and the particular conditions contained in the travel documentation provided to the client at the moment of booking the trip constitute the travel contract binding the parties.

ORGANIZING AGENCY: The organization of the trips included in this website was made by SEMAVITUR VIAGENS AND TURISMO UNIPESSOAL, LDA, with headquarters at Rua da Alegria, 185 4000-043 Porto, with a share capital of € 99,765, taxpayer no. 500245533, registered in the Porto Commercial Registry under number 6630/20504, with RNAVT no. 1721.

REGISTRATION: At the time of registration, the client must deposit the stipulated sign in each program, paying the remaining amount up to 21 days before departure. If the registration takes place 21 days or less from the date of departure, the total price of the trip must be paid at the time of registration, which is conditional on the suppliers obtaining confirmation of the reservations for all services. The organizing agency reserves the right to cancel any registration whose payment has not been made under the conditions mentioned above.

CLAIMS: Under the terms of Law no. 144/2015 of September 8, the Client may resort to the following Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities:
i) Provider of the Client of the Travel and Tourism Agencies at;
ii) Tourism Arbitration Commission of Portugal at;
iii) or to any of the entities duly indicated in the list made available by the General Directorate of Consumer at whose consultation we advise. Complaints can only be considered provided that they are submitted in writing to the agency within a maximum of 30 days after the end of the provision of services.
They can only be accepted as long as they participate to the service providers during the course of the trip, requiring the same respective documents proving the occurrence. In the event of a claim for non-compliance with the contracted services, the client may activate the Travel and Tourism Guarantee Fund provided for under Decree-Law 61/2011 of May 6, in its current version, and must present the respective complaint:
i) Together with the Customer Ombudsman, since SEMAVITUR is a member of the Client Provider of the Travel and Tourism Agencies, at In order to enjoy this service, you must submit your complaint in writing within 20 working days of the end of the trip. The agencies are bound to punctually comply with the decision that may be issued by such entity.
ii) Together with Turismo de Portugal I.P at within 30 days after: (a) the end of the trip; (b) the cancellation of the trip attributable to the agency; (c) the date of acknowledgment of the impossibility of its realization due to a fact imputable to the agency; (d) the closure of the establishment.
iii) Together with any of the entities on the website of the General Directorate of Consumer at

BAGGAGE: The agency is responsible for the luggage under legal terms. The passenger has the obligation to complain to the entities providing services, at the time of subtraction, deterioration or loss. The liability of the agency can only be triggered upon presentation of the proof of the claim mentioned above. In the international transport, in case of damage in the luggage, the complaint must be made in writing to the carrier immediately after the verification of the damage, and a maximum of 7 days from its delivery. In case of a delay in the delivery of the luggage, the claim must be made within 21 days from the date of delivery. Hand baggage and other personal belongings are not covered by the contract of carriage, it being understood for all purposes that passengers must always keep them at their own risk regardless of where they are. Any theft or robbery will not be the responsibility of the organizing agency.

LIMITS: The liability of the agency shall be limited to the maximum amount due to service providers under the Montreal Convention of 28 May 1999 on International Carriage by Air and the Berne Convention of 1961 on Rail Transport . With regard to maritime transport, the liability of travel agents, in relation to their customers, for the provision of transport services or accommodation, where appropriate, by maritime transport undertakings, in the case of damage resulting from intent or negligence , shall be limited to the following amounts: a) € 441,436 in the event of death or personal injury; b) € 7,881, in the event of total or partial loss of luggage or damage to it; c) € 31,424, in the event of loss of a motor vehicle, including the luggage contained therein; (d) € 10,375 in the event of loss of baggage, accompanied or not, contained in a motor vehicle; e) € 1,097, for damage to luggage, as a result of damage to the motor vehicle. Where it exists, the responsibility of travel and tourism agencies for the deterioration, destruction and subtraction of luggage or other articles in tourist accommodation establishments, while the customer is staying there, has the following limits: a) € 1.397, overall; b) € 449 per article; c) The value declared by the client, for the articles deposited in the custody of the tourist accommodation establishment. The agency's liability for non-personal damages may be contractually limited to the amount corresponding to five times the price of the service sold.

DOCUMENTATION: The client must have in good order all his personal or familiar documentation (identity card or citizen's card, passport, military documentation, authorization for minors, visas, vaccination certificate, European sickness insurance card and others that may be required ). Banknotes or birth seats are not valid as a travel document. Citizens from countries other than Portugal should obtain information on the conditions of access to the countries to be visited. The organizing agency declines all responsibility for the refusal of the granting of visas or the non-entry permit to the client in a foreign country, and any cost that such situation may entail.

CHANGES: If it is possible, whenever a customer registered for a particular trip wishes to change his registration for another trip or to the same departure date, he must pay the fee as a changeover. However, when the change takes place 21 days or less in advance of the departure date of the trip to which the customer is registered, or if the service providers do not accept the change, he shall be subject to the expenses and charges item "Withdrawals". After starting the trip, if requested to change the services contracted for reasons not attributable to the agency (ex .: increase of the nights of stay, change of flight), the prices of the tourist services may not correspond to those published in the brochure that motivated the hiring.

REGISTRATION DEPARTURE: The customer can assign his / her registration, being replaced by another person who fulfills all the conditions required for the trip, provided that he informs the selling agency at least seven days in advance and that such assignment is possible under the terms applicable air transport regulations. In case of cruises and air travel, the deadline will be fifteen days in advance. The assignment of the registration shall jointly and severally blame the transferee for the payment of the price of the trip and for the additional charges incurred.

AMENDMENTS: Whenever there are other reasons why, the organizing agency may change the order of the routes, modify the departure times or replace any of the hotels provided by others of similar category and location, and inform the client of such change as soon as her knowledge. If unforeseen circumstances make it necessary to suspend any travel, customers will always be entitled to reimbursement of the amounts paid.

CANCELLATION OF THE PROGRAM BY THE AGENCY: The Agency reserves the right to cancel the package if the number of participants is less than the minimum required. In these cases, the client will be informed, in writing, of the cancellation within 10 days before the date of departure.

AMENDMENT TO PRICE: The prices shown in the program are based on the costs of the services and exchange rates in force at the time of printing of this program and are subject to change resulting from changes in transport or fuel costs, exchange rates and fluctuations up to 20 days before the date of travel.

REFUNDS: After the start of the trip, no refund for services not used by the customer is due. Failure to provide services provided in the travel program for causes not attributable to the organizing agency and if it is not possible to replace them with other equivalent, gives the customer the right to be reimbursed for the difference between the price of the services provided and those actually provided.

IMPOSSIBILITY OF COMPLIANCE: If, prior to the commencement of the trip and due to events not attributable to the organizing agency, it becomes unable to fulfill some essential service included in the travel program, the client has the right to withdraw from the trip and is immediately reimbursed for all the amounts paid or, alternatively, accept a change and possible price variation. If the said events that are not attributable to the organizing agency determine the cancellation of the trip, the client can still opt to participate in another organized trip of equivalent price. If the arranged trip proposed in substitution is of lower price, the customer will be refunded of the respective difference.

DISTINCTIONS: If the customer or any of his or her escorts withdraws from the trip, you will have to pay all the charges that the cancellation will give rise to and even a percentage that can go up to 15% of the price of the trip. Where applicable, the customer will be reimbursed for the difference between the amount paid and the amounts referred to above

RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibility of the travel agency included in this site and emerging from the obligations assumed is guaranteed by civil liability insurance in the Western insurance company, under the number RC78492670, in the amount of € 75,000, and by the Fund Guarantee of Travel and Tourism in accordance with the legislation in force.
VAT: The prices mentioned on this site already reflect the Value Added Tax at the current rate (23%).

HOURS OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: The arrival and departure times in each city are indicated in the local time of their country and according to the schedules of the transport companies at the time of preparation of this document and are therefore subject to change. For trips made totally or partially by bus, the times indicated are approximate. All means of transport include delays resulting from technical or other reasons related to the means of transport itself and to the transport undertakings. The organizing agency of these trips does not consider itself responsible for the delay or lack of attendance of any of the participants in the places and hours previously indicated for the respective departures, reason why the expenses of transport, lodging, meals and others that can come by the mentioned.

When making the reservation, the client guarantees that he is in full health conditions to travel and that his health will not jeopardize the safety and comfort of the other passengers of the group. For disabled persons, passengers with reduced mobility shall be subject to the rules laid down in Community legislation on the carriage of passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility. Considering that the vehicles used may not be equipped to accommodate wheelchairs and that some hotels may not have adequate options for people with special needs or reduced mobility, if necessary, the interested parties should contact the agency in advance to if these services are suitable for people with special needs or reduced mobility.

HOTELS: The list of hotels and apartments in the programs is indicative, as well as their category, which respects local criteria and classifications, sometimes different from those used in Portugal. They may be altered by similar ones when, for reasons beyond the control of the agency, it is not possible to maintain or confirm the existing reservation, and the agency is obliged to inform the client as soon as it becomes aware of it.

AIRPORT, SAFETY AND FUEL RATES: By legal imposition, it is mandatory that the respective fees be included in the final price of the program. However, we safeguard the possible changes that occur from the date of preparation of this document until the date of the trip, with the respective rates subject to legal changes until the tickets are issued.

INSURANCE: The agency offers the sale of insurance that can be purchased depending on the trip to guarantee assistance situations and cancellation expenses.
